Knot lets you create large, colorful pictures and movies of beautiful 3-D abstract knots: you design the knot’s form, colors, lighting, and motion. The result is murals, desktop pictures, photocollage elements, and QuickTime animations.
Knot is shareware. To register, read the file “How to register Knot”; it explains methods of payment and the Register application that came with Knot. If you register Knot (it’s US$20 for a single user), you’ll get the Flaming Pear Omnibus Disk full of example knots, power-user documentation, assorted software goodies, and fun. You’ll also get a code word that will banish the 30-day timeout & the “Please register Knot” message forever, and my vast gratitude.
